On the front cover it gives the specifications and lists the accessories of the roaster . . .

"DISH SET: Genuine heat-proof Hall China in Betsy Ross Blue. Includes 2 ¾ - qt. Uncovered meat dish, and two 2-qt. Covered vegetable dishes." There is no date in the book but there is a statement by Westinghouse that they co-operate fully with National Defense which may require them to depart from certain details of the specifications set forth in this booklet .Just a side note on Roasters – This summer I saw a Montgomery Ward Roaster with two 2-qt. Covered vegetable dishes and an uncovered meat dish. – same size as these. The Covered vegetable dish is described in Whitmeyer’s as a large leftover. |
